Westman Steel draws its strength from its agricultural origins, but its product range now extends to a variety of commercial uses. We are proud to be the number one Canadian manufacturer that the commercial market chooses.
Our commitment to quality is upheld throughout your project. From the blueprints to the finished building, we are devoted to making your next venture a STATEMENT IN STEEL!
Contractors recognize the quality of Westman Steel's products when constructing warehouses, manufacturing plants, office buildings, factories, schools, and much more.
Why Choose Steel to make Your Statement?
When planning your next project, consider tensile strength. This is determined by two components: yield and ultimate. Yield is the point at which the material can no longer perform its intended function (e.g. bending or stretching) without breaking. Steel is without a doubt the strongest material on the market. Paired with our stylish profiles, your next project will look good and endure the test of time.
Westman Steel's product line offers maximum design flexibility. Our catalogue of profiles ranges from traditional to modern and everything in between. To take it to the next level, we have curated a selection of colours and textures to make your next project a STATEMENT IN STEEL!
Steel is the world's most recycled material. It has a recycling rate of over 90%, and is recycled into other steel products, using much less energy than was needed to produce the original product. This material can be recycled for centuries with no loss of quality, reducing the burden on future generations. That is the very definition of sustainability.

Base Steel Thickness: This is the thickness of the sheet steel material without any coatings.
Coated Thickness: This is the thickness of the steel sheet including any metallic coatings (e.g. zinc or aluminum-zinc alloy) and paint coatings.
Our profiles are differentiated by their Tensile Strength, this has two components: Yield and Ultimate. Yield occurs when the material is no longer able to perform its function (bending or stretching) without breaking. Ultimate is the point at which the material breaks.
The Tensile Strength of a material is the maximum tensile pulling force stress, or maximum force per unit area, that the material can sustain before it breaks under tension.
